Alan James Hutchinson has been an artist and professional musician for over 30 years. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and inspired by the beautiful mountains and ocean landscapes of New England. He has been teaching privately since 1984 in Nantucket, Nashville, Virginia Beach, Florida and the Florida Keys. His watercolors have been influenced by the impressionist masters and follow a classic transparent style. Alan has recently moved to Cottonwood, Arizona from Melbourne, Florida. While in Florida his work was featured in the Orlando "SUN TIMES." He has exhibited in juried shows in Port Orange, Florida and Daytona Beach, Florida, as well as several one man shows and exhibits. His work is currently being shown at the Gold Leaf Gallery in Deland, Florida, Amici Style, Virginia Beach, and is in private collections in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. with Rick Derringer at the '88 NAMM Show |
